CHRISTMAS EVE:  Our Christmas Eve service will be held at 7 PM here at the church. Invite your friends and family to join us in worship with special scriptural readings, music from the choir, congregational singing of carols, and hearing a message of hope from Pastor Bill followed by candle lighting (glow sticks for little ones.) May God bless you this Christmas Season and through the New Year.

GRIEF SHARE:  Find hope and healing after the death of a loved one.  Weekly support group here at our church on Tuesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 PM.  Please continue to pray regarding this outreach in our community.

SACANDAGA BIBLE CONFERENCE:  Dave Spencer joined us on October 29th bringing us an update on this past, terrific summer at “SAC.” But “camp” is not over!  Sportsman’s Day in January, plus “Winter Blast” for teens and kids during midwinter. Brochures are in the lobby with dates and times. There may even be a place for YOU to volunteer at camp!

COFFEE (AND TEA) FELLOWSHIP:  For weeks in  December and January, please sign up on the bulletin board if you plan to provide snacks like bagels, muffins, crackers and cheese, fruit and veggies, cookies or little sandwiches and soup, chili, etc. after church on Sunday.  If you have NOT signed up but wish to share, please contact Christine or Melissa to see if there is an opening or if you can work with another person to share in the fellowship time.  Once a month, the after church fellowship committee would like to have a luncheon and  a special sign up sheet will be provided.  Many thanks to those of you who have fed us well!

LYFE   Living Your Faith Everyday – Conference for Women  On-Camputs housing for this conference is filling up QUICKLY!  The date is June 6, 7, 8 – 2024.  Take advantage of their Thursday overnight and Friday breakfast –  “Best Deal” for on campus housing. CHOIR –  Love to sing? Can you carry a tune in a bucket?  That’s all that’s needed to be in our worship choir! All voice parts are needed at this time. You do not have to be a church member to be in the choir. Rehearsal is after church fellowship for 1 hour during times of special music throughout the year. See Lynette for more details.

Help is needed…

to substitute teach for Sunday School. Our lessons are easy to follow; no special training is needed; just a willing heart and a love for children!  Age groups:  2 – 3,  4 – 7, and 8 – 12.  Please see David Ferkaluk. THANK YOU to those of you who have stepped up to take on a teaching role!

to volunteer in the Nursery on a rotating schedule. Please speak to Lisa or Emily if you would like to volunteer. Thank you VERY MUCH to those of you who have already volunteered.

to assure a smooth operation of our equipment each Sunday. None of our equipment is hard to learn!    We have two teenagers and a few adults who have already volunteered, however we need more people who are not in choir.  If this sounds interesting to you, please speak to Lynette, Peggy, Emily or David.
