Covid Update

We have had “in person” services for over one year and are thankful to say that we have not had this virus spread from our church! Praise be to God!!! Our numbers in attendance are continuing to grow! It is exciting to see our families returning and new friends coming to join in worship! We are also thankful that our church has not only been able to remain open through this season of Covid 19, but that we have included singing music.  We truly appreciat our congregation doing their part to stop the spread of the virus by wearing masks when appropriate and using hand sanitizer. Masks and hand sanitizer will still be available to those who choose them, however, we have removed the red and green markers on the pews and you are now allowed to sit where you would choose but please be respectful of others by asking before sitting next to them.  All are welcome into the sanctuary, vaccinated or not.

There will still be a few chairs set up in the “overflow” area for those who need to keep their distance, however the sofa and chair area will now be for families of young children who may need a few minutes of respite while still being a part of the service.

NEW MEMBERS:  Congratulations to Leila and Stanley, who were given the right hand of fellowship and welcomed as members into our congregation. They and their family are a bright spot in our service and definitely a welcome addition to our church! Please take the time to get to know them.

THANK YOU to Pat for hosting a special summer devotion and luncheon at her summer residence, her sister-in-law, Jan for sharing  a very nice devotional and Linda for leading us in a few fun games with prizes (a very entertaining time!)

For the month of July we will take advantage of the morning and evening chapel speakers at Sacandaga Bible Conference’s Family Camp weeks. Monday through Friday, morning Chapel is at 9:00 AM, Evening Chapel is at 7:00 PM.

Both pastors will continue to have their office hours but Pastor Sean will be ending his a few minutes early on Wednesdays in July in order to give him time to travel to Sacandaga Bible Conference for prayer meeting.

MONDAYS FOR MEN will meet at SAC as will our Wednesday’s PRAYER MEETING. Pastor will have a weekly prayer sheet available and we will meet outside the snack barn at 6:30 for prayer time.

@AMSTERDAM RiSE Youth Group:
